About Julie

I’m an artist and writer, inspired by nature, Japanese influences, and the connections between creativity and the spiritual life.

During five years in Japan as a student, I experienced traditional art forms including Japanese paper collage, fabric art, and calligraphy. Those experiences continue to inform my interest in vibrant color, texture, and experimentation.

My creative work includes painting and writing, with acrylics, oils, watercolor, mixed media, and handmade papers among the materials I’ve explored.
